Biography:

Shama is a second year from Houston, TX, but if you're from Houston, you'll know that she's actually from The Woodlands (a suburb north of Houston). She currently lives between The Woodlands, Chicago, and Bangalore (where most of her family is from), and thinks that living in Texas for most of her life gives her the full authority to say "y'all" all the time.

Everyone gets really confused when she says that her major is Computer Science "for the vibes" because she's supposed to apply to law school, but has decided that she'll figure out the logistics of taking the LSAT later.

The happiest day of her life might just be when Emily Wilson's translation of "The Illiad" finally comes out. She loves baking blue food, listening to an eclectic mix of Christmas and Bollywood music, and drinking bubble tea to, what is certainly, an unhealthy extent.
