Russell comes to the University of Chicago from Kalamazoo College, where he had the immense pleasure of singing with both Premium Orange and the Kalamadudes. In addition to a cappella, he enjoys ultimate frisbee, "alpine" skiing, playing with Legos, and solving the mysteries of the universe through science.
